we are so excited to meet you

SUNDAYS AT 10:30 AM

Deeply Rooted

Visiting a church for the first time can feel overwhelming; and finding the right place to call home is a big decision. With so many great churches in Frisco, we want to answer your questions and help you confidently choose what’s best for your family.

We’re relationally driven, rooted in Scripture, and centered on loving Jesus and loving people. We're a smaller church by design; growing toward planting other small, community-focused churches. While we love and respect larger churches, and the Holy Spirit is active in both, we believe there’s something powerful about being part of a close-knit body making a Kingdom impact in our city.

More importantly, you’re welcome here. No matter your past, background, or where you are on your journey, there’s a place for you at Frisco Community Church. Keep reading to learn more about our culture and what to expect on a Sunday!

Sundays, Reimagined

We want to disrupt the status quo of "Church" so we, and others, can experience ridiculous Kingdom impact. That vision shapes how we gather, serve, and worship. It’s why we publicly and joyfully celebrate baptisms in the waters of Lake Lewisville. It’s why some Sundays, instead of a traditional service, we roll up our sleeves and meet the needs of our community. And it’s why, a few times a year, we host Mosaic—an interactive worship experience designed to engage your heart, mind, and soul in fresh, meaningful ways. We believe church is more than a routine; it's a movement that draws people closer to Jesus and sends them out with purpose.

Flip Flops & (Little) Super Heroes

We’re a come-as-you-are church. There’s no dress code and no pressure—just real people showing up as themselves. You’ll see everything from "Sunday best" to shorts and flip flops. Some families come dressed for the game right after service, and we love it! And if your little one shows up as a superhero or princess? That’s perfectly fine too. Everyone’s welcome just as they are—costumes and all.

Your Giftedness. His Impact.

There are so many ways to make a difference at FCC, and we love seeing people step into the unique calling God has placed on their lives. Whether you're gifted in hospitality, teaching, encouragement, or behind-the-scenes support, there’s a place for you to serve and thrive. If you haven’t taken a Spiritual Gifts assessment yet, you can start here.

Some serving roles are open right away, while others—like those in our Family Ministry—require a bit more preparation. Because we care deeply about the safety and well-being of every child and student, we ask that Family Ministry volunteers be part of our church for at least six months and complete a thorough training and screening process. It's a high standard, because we believe our kids deserve the very best.

Rhythms of Worship

We hope you feel at home in our worship services. Each one is prepared with prayerful care, blending a variety of worship elements to help you connect with God in meaningful ways. You’ll experience a thoughtful mix of contemporary songs, timeless hymns, Scripture, and prayer—sometimes with a full band, sometimes acoustic. Whether through quiet reflection or bold praise, our desire is to create space for you to encounter and worship God.

We also celebrate communion twice a month as a reminder of Christ’s love and sacrifice. (All communion elements are certified gluten-free.)

Helping You Grow, Not Just Know

Our sermons are rooted in Scripture and guided by a deep desire to know and follow Jesus, not by personal or political agendas. We believe our faith should inform how we respond to current events, not the other way around. The Bible speaks into every aspect of life, that’s why we teach from the whole of Scripture—spending time each year in the Old Testament, the Gospels & Acts, and the Letters. You’ll find our sermons helpful for growing in your faith, relevant to everyday life, and filled with hope.

Steeples or Trailers?

We gather each Sunday in the Performing Arts Center at Legacy Christian Academy’s Upper School but we’re not simply renting, we’re living out our vision. At Frisco Community Church, we’re intentionally portable—what we call “tabernacling”—because we believe the Church is not defined by a building, but by a people on mission.

While we do dream of having a permanent space one day, that building's primary purpose won’t be about status or comfort. It’ll be a tool designed to serve, bless, and meet the real needs of our community. For now, being portable keeps us focused, flexible, and faithful to our vision: to disrupt the status quo of "Church" and pursue ridiculous Kingdom impact in the city we love.
