Making the Years Count
Parents have just over 900 weeks with their children until graduation. This means every moment matters.
From first steps to first heartbreaks, every phase of parenting comes with joy, challenge, and change. At Frisco Community Church, we get it—because we're in it with you. Whether you're raising toddlers, tweens, or teens, we’re here to help you navigate the chaos and celebrate the milestones in a community that keeps your children grounded and growing.
Parenting isn’t something you have to figure out alone. Within a safe environment, we walk alongside you with tools, community, and a Christ-centered approach to each phase of your child’s journey.
KIDS MINISTRY
Preschoolers see the world like little artists—blending imagination and reality as they explore through movement, music, and creativity.
That’s why our early childhood environments are filled with color, sound, and hands-on fun designed to spark curiosity and build connection. At this age, kids crave safety and love to laugh. ("Do it again!!!")
By the time they move into Elementary Ministry, they’ve begun to understand these three foundational truths:
God Made Me.
God Loves Me.
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Elementary kids are like little scientists—learning through curiosity, questions, and a whole lot of trial and error. (Which might explain why they’re so good at testing boundaries!) They’re constantly observing the world around them, looking for proof that they belong and wondering if they have what it takes.
That’s why we create a safe, fun space where faith becomes real. Through engaging large group teaching and relational small groups, kids hear truth in ways they can understand—and put it into practice in their everyday lives.
By the time they move up to Middle School, they’ll carry with them these three foundational truths:
I can trust God, no matter what.
I can make the wise choice.
I can treat others the way I want to be treated.
STUDENT MINISTRY
Middle Schoolers are growing fast—physically and mentally. Their growing minds are beginning to connect ideas, think critically, and explore their identity. Questions like “Who am I?” and “What do I care about?” begin to take root. It’s a season of discovery, change, and big emotions.
That’s why our Middle School Ministry is designed to be a safe, steady place where students can ask questions, process new thoughts, and begin to take ownership of their faith. Through trusted small group leaders and engaging conversations, we help anchor their identity in what God says about them—clear, simple truths they can carry into whatever comes next.
When students leave Middle School for High School they will know these foundational truths:
Jesus is trustworthy to follow.
God loves me unconditionally.
I can live a life that points people to Jesus.
High Schoolers are deep thinkers, asking big questions like, “Where do I belong?” “Why should I believe?” and “How can I make a difference?” They’re exploring what’s unseen, wrestling with doubts, and searching for real answers. This is a season of shaping identity and convictions, typically through conversation, questions, and even debate.
That’s why our High School Ministry creates safe environments where students can be honest, explore truth, and process different perspectives—always grounded in the unshakable truth of God’s Word. Our leaders walk with them, not just to give answers, but to point them to the One who is Truth, Jesus.
As High School students head into adulthood, they will be prepared with the following foundational truths:
Jesus is continually making me more like him.
God created me with purpose.
My actions can demonstrate God's love for others.
Our curriculum is biblically based and built to grow with your child—laying a foundation of faith that sticks long after graduation caps are tossed. We don’t just want your kids to know about Jesus. We want them to know Him personally—and be equipped to love others and lead lives of purpose.
FAMILY SUNDAYS
One of the most beloved ways we partner with parents is through our tradition of Family Sundays—special services we host 6–8 times a year where elementary-aged kids and older join their families in “big church.”
These services are intentionally designed to be engaging for all generations, helping spark meaningful faith conversations at home. We align what kids and adults are learning so families can grow in their faith side by side.
You’ll often see kids and parents participating in the service—through games, Scripture readings, or creative moments that bring the sermon to life. When kids see themselves in the experience, they know they belong—and they begin to find their people.
STUDENT TAKE OVER
We’re passionate about empowering the next generation and as such we occasionally "disrupt" the idea of what church looks like. That’s why whenever there's a 5th Sunday in a month it's a Student Takeover Sunday—a unique worship service where middle and high school students lead the entire Sunday morning experience.
From hospitality to tech, worship to kids ministry, students serve both behind the scenes and up front. They don’t just participate; they work with FCC staff to help plan, prepare, and lead in both the adult and our kids services.
We love watching students rise to the challenge, discovering their unique gifts and stepping boldly into their unique calling. These Sundays are powerful reminders that your student doesn’t have to wait to make an impact—they can start living it now.
Where Safety and Love Go Hand in Hand
Your child’s safety is a top priority at FCC. Every Servant Leader entrusted with minors—from birth through graduation—has been part of our church community for at least six months, passed a thorough screening process, completed Ministry Safe training, and cleared a criminal background check. We also follow strict safety protocols, including never allowing an adult to be alone with a child. This is all to provide a safe, loving environment where kids can experience God’s great love.
